A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Company
The Assumed Business Name of Feed Craven Food Pantry, as filed with the North Carolina Secretary of State, operates under the legal entity of The Church @ New Bern. The Church @ New Bern, is a non-profit corporation based on the church's Articles of Incorporation with the state of North Carolina.
Per Title 26 USC 508: Special rules with respect to section 501(c)(3) organizations, the Feed Craven Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Therefore, the Internal Revenue Service does not require a letter of determination as required by many corporations to be recognized as and operating as a non-profit comporation.
All financial and material support to Feed Craven are fully tax deductible by Federal law under Title 26 USC Section 170(c).
